Woody Money, the founder of Waymaker GIS, graduated with a degree in Geomatics in 2008. He had a passion for missions and embarked on a fulfilling career in surveying and mapping. Woody and his wife, Jessica, lived a content and productive life in Alabama, working during the week and pursuing missions during their free time. The couple was blessed with three children, and they made the most of every opportunity to serve the Lord.
 

However, God had a different plan for Woody and Jessica. The Lord called them to leave everything behind and embark on a new journey. With obedience as their only plan, they moved to Jacksonville, FL, and God opened doors for them. It was a dream and a phone call from missionaries in South America that confirmed their calling, purpose, and first partnership.
As they navigated uncharted territory, Woody realized that old mapping skills could be used in a new way to help ministries have greater freedom and capabilities to do missions. Thus, Waymaker GIS was born, built in the wilderness and now running with a skillful team and divine vision.

Through years of hard work, Woody has attained the titles of Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM) and Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP). What began as a non-profit organization has since expanded into a fully-equipped LLC, enabling Waymaker GIS to provide support to missionaries, ministries, and businesses alike. With the integration of drone technology and flight capabilities on the horizon, Waymaker GIS is poised for continued success as both a business (LLC) and a ministry (501c3).
