Our Story
Waymaker GIS founder, Woody Money, graduated in 2008 with a degree in Geomatics, & a thirst for missions. With a satisfying career in surveying & mapping, Woody & his wife Jessica settled into a life of working during the week & doing missions during their free time in Alabama. Their lives were content & fruitful, with the Lord blessing them with 3 children & many opportunities to serve Him. Little did they know that God was about to lead them down a path that would take them into the wild....
With no plan other than obedience to a call from God to leave everything they knew in Alabama, the Lord was faithful & paved the way for them to move to Jacksonville, FL. Shortly after, God used a dream & a phone call with missionaries in the wilderness of South America to confirm the call, purpose, & first partnership. Even in uncharted territory, God showed Woody how to incorporate old mapping skills in a new way to help ministries to have greater freedom & capabilities to do missions.
Waymaker GIS was born from a dream & built in the wilderness, & is now running with a skillful team & divine vision to continue EFFECTIVELY EQUIPPING MINISTRIES AND MISSIONARIES WITH MAPPING & LOCATION DRIVEN TECHNOLOGY TO REACH THEIR WORLD.
